Digital Dailies® Set Top Box (STB) application works in conjunction with the D3 System by providing many of the benefits of the online D3 capabilities, except allows viewing from a television set or screening room rather than a computer. The Digital Dailies® STB provides high-resolution content display with 100% remote controlled, point-and-click convenience. It is very easy to use - no training required - just point and click. If you know how to surf cable TV, you’re ready to start using Digital Dailies® STB.

Available in both Standard and High definition, Digital Dailies® STB provides a secure and reliable stage to review content, such as dailies, rough cuts, visual FX, casting reels, presentation materials and more. Reels can be searched and accessed via categories such as title or campaign; new or unseen; by scene and take; or even by scene description. Find exactly what you are looking for and watch on demand. The system also has available shot sheet integration (dailies screening notes) meaning script supervisors and associate editors can create screening notes in ALE format, and the system can display the same descriptions and metadata with each scene and take.

The system will also allow you to mark selected takes, assemble play-lists and make playlists available to other predefined groups or persons. Playlists can be used to communicate favorites to editorial, preorder pull-downs for screenings, or send the playlist to other users like marketing or production execs. The STB also has tools like “Auto Release” allowing users to approve and release materials to wider audiences.
